Real-time on-road NOx emission measurements
Nitrogen oxides (NOx) are a major contributor to air pollution, especially in urban areas and along highways. Accurate and timely measurement of NOx emissions from vehicles is crucial for controlling and reducing pollution. Airux's Plume Chasing method offers an efficient, simple, and accurate solution for measuring NOx emissions from light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles under real-world driving conditions.

Water Flux Systems
Water flux systems are designed to measure H2O exchange between the biosphere and atmosphere in the surface layer of the atmosphere. These measurements are crucial when actual evapotranspiration measurements are desired rather than an estimate derived from environmental conditions.

Carbon Flux Systems Measure CO2 and CH4 flux with research-grade eddy-covariance systems
Carbon flux systems are designed to measure CO2 and CH4 gas exchange between the biosphere and atmosphere. Campbell Scientific is the only company to manufacture both the gas analyzer and sonic anemometer needed for the eddy-covariance technique, helping to ensure the highest-quality data.

Trace Gas Systems
Campbell Scientific offers our newest TDLAS closed-path trace gas analyzer model, the TGA200A, for measurements of CH4, N2O, or CO2 isotopes. The TGA200A has been optimized for rugged, low-maintenance operation, as it can be placed directly outside on the ground and no longer requires liquid nitrogen.

Turbulence and Energy Flux Systems
Campbell Scientific 3-D sonic anemometers are known for their research-grade performance, as evidenced by usage in a majority of NCAR, AmeriFlux, AsiaFlux, and NEON sites. The Campbell design features an extremely low ratio of transducer diameter to pathlength and a non-orthogonal geometry that keeps sonic paths closer to perpendicular with respect to mean horizontal flows, thereby minimizing transducer shadowing effects. The boom design also eliminates distortion of oncoming wind from support struts.

Closed-Path Eddy-Covariance Systems
Campbell Scientific offers closed-path eddy-covariance systems for fluxes of CO2, H2O (latent heat), sensible heat, CH4, N2O, and CO2 isotopes. These systems are an optimum solution for long-term, low-maintenance flux monitoring thanks to the features of automatic zero/span, low-power requirements, and the revolutionary vortex intake (U.S. Pat. No. 9,217,692), which reduces maintenance and improves H2O frequency response compared to traditional closed-path systems
Closed-Path Eddy-Covariance Systems
Open-Path Eddy-Covariance Systems
Campbell Scientific offers low-power open-path eddy-covariance systems that are unmatched in the level of analyzer and sonic anemometer system integration.
