Reecotech’s meteorological and oceanographic monitoring system for wind farms is a modern technological solution designed to provide accurate and timely meteorological and oceanographic data for wind farms. The system consists of fixed and mobile monitoring stations installed at various locations within the farm area.
Fixed monitoring stations: Are installed on wind turbine towers to measure weather parameters such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, and air pressure. These stations can also be equipped with sensors to measure waves, tides, and other oceanographic factors.
Mobile monitoring stations: Are installed on floating buoys or on transport vehicles to measure weather and oceanographic parameters in a wider area. These stations are often used to collect data for marine environmental research, or to provide early warning of dangerous weather events.
Data from the monitoring stations is transmitted to the control center, where it is stored and processed. This data is used to monitor the operation of the wind farm, ensure the safety of equipment and personnel, and optimize electricity production efficiency.
