Recognizing the importance of surveying water supply and drainage pipelines, Reeco Tech Co., Ltd provides pipeline survey services by Remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV). This technology applies to areas with limited space or hazardous conditions that are difficult for humans to access.

Components of ROV robot system

1. Underwater ROV robot

The ROV robot is capable of surveying areas with limited space or hazardous conditions that are difficult for humans to access. Maximum operating depth 300 m, maximum speed 4.2 knots (knots/hour). The robot is designed to help observe and orient in the electrical control of turbidity of the high water environment (visual vision is close to 0) with the following equipment:
  • Specialized color camera equipment
  • Lights
  • Sensors: compass; acceleration; speed; water temperature; leak control; depth gauge

2. Built-in controller

The controller supplies power, communicates information, and provides a video interface between the operator and the ROV via wires.
Integrated computer running VideoRay Cockpit software.
Power requirements: 100-240 VAC, standard RS485 connection.

3. Tether

ROV Tether has absolute reliability and flexible operation. Tethers are designed in different buoyancy and lengths for different applications, with a maximum length of 600 m. The ROV robot tether is reinforced with Aramid Kevlar fibers making the rope very strong and durable, far surpassing other types of fiber optic cables.
