Advantages of microVOC/microBTEX

Mobile Design and Rapid Deployment:

  • Compact and lightweight construction facilitates easy transport and on-site installation.
  • Quick setup (< 5 minutes) minimizes preparation time and enhances monitoring efficiency.

Superior Analytical Performance:

  • Real-time VOC analysis with high sensitivity: detection limit for benzene is below 1 ppb (loop configuration) and can reach 10 ppt (trap configuration).
  • Short analysis cycle: 10 minutes for BTEX; 5 minutes (or optionally reduced to 3 minutes) for single benzene analysis.

Energy Efficiency and Resource Optimization:

  • Minimal consumption of carrier gas reduces operating costs and environmental impact.
  • Dual power options via mains supply or battery (up to 4 hours of operation) ensure continuous monitoring.

Intelligent Programming, Monitoring, and Data Logging:

  • Embedded software supports both standard and expert modes for streamlined method programming, monitoring, and data management.
  • A 7” color touchscreen displays near real-time results and logs data on a 32 GB microSD card, capable of continuous recording for over 13 months.

Compatibility and Expandability:

  • Compatible with various sampling systems including canisters and the FLEC® system, with support for both loop and trap configurations on a single device.
  • Ideal for applications in VOC exposure testing, industrial air quality monitoring, and laboratory research.

Working Principle:

The microVOC/microBTEX employs a PID sensor combined with advanced microfluidic technology to collect and analyze VOCs continuously. This real-time analytical process optimizes air quality monitoring and minimizes manpower requirements, making it an efficient tool for environmental surveillance.
