Operating Principle
The system uses a valve with a single adsorbent trap and a metal capillary column, combined with a Flame Ionization Detector (FID). The analytical column is installed in a programmable temperature oven.
A key feature of the airmoVOC 624 is its thermoelectric cooling system, which regulates the sample trap temperature as needed, enabling the analysis of compounds such as Ethyne.
Sensitivity and Detection Capability
- Minimum detection limit:
- 10 ppt for Benzene in standard configuration (can reach 1 ppt with airmoVOC Expert version).
- Measuring range:
- 0.05 – 400 µg/m³ for Trimethylbenzene.
- Relative standard deviation (RSD):
- < 3% on concentration over 48 hours.
- < 0.3% on retention time over 48 hours.
- < 10% for water analysis.
