The HPR-20 R&D Gas Analysis System

The Hiden HPR-20 R&D gas analysis system is configured for continuous analysis of gases and vapors at near-atmospheric pressure in its standard form. Alternative systems are available for applications requiring direct sampling from higher pressures, up to 30 bar. The standard mass range is 200 amu.

The Hiden QIC quartz-lined sampling interface operates at temperatures up to 200°C, delivering fast response times of less than 300 milliseconds for most common gases and vapors, including water vapor.

The HPR-20 R&D system incorporates the Hiden 3F series triple-stage mass filter spectrometer, recommended for applications requiring optimal abundance sensitivity or the analysis of corrosive or condensable species. Detection limits down to 5PPB are achievable, depending on spectral interface and optimized ion source configuration.

An external dry scroll pump is included to provide high-performance combined sample bypass and UHV foreline pumping, ensuring optimal performance for applications with significant concentrations of light gases, such as helium carrier gas.
