Analysis and Monitoring of Trace BTEX Compounds in Air, Water, and Soil

The AirmoVOC BTX is a gas chromatograph (GC) equipped with a flame ionization detector (FID) designed for the analysis and monitoring of trace levels of BTEX compounds (Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, o/m/p Xylene) in air, water, and soil. This system provides highly accurate, stable, and sensitive data down to ppt levels.

Operating Principle

  • Automatic sampling and concentration using an absorbent trap.
  • Desorption and sample injection into a metallic capillary column with a temperature gradient regulation.
  • Hydrogen pressure control at the column head via a piezo valve.
  • Detection of separated compounds from the GC column using an FID detector
