Article 16 of the Law on Meteorology and Hydrology 2015 stipulates the maintenance, repair and renovation of works in accordance with technical standards and professional procedures.

Automatic monitoring system is a complex system that requires different experiences and knowledge in: Electronics/Automation (Measuring equipment, electrical system); Information Technology (Data storage, transmission), Chemistry (standard testing), Environment (monitoring, evaluating monitoring data), etc. Therefore, to ensure operation in accordance with regulations, the station operation and management staff must be trained and familiar with the system.

In order to meet the service requirements of customers, Reecotech provides monitoring system maintenance services to prevent damage and on-site inspection. This activity aims to ensure for industrial measuring equipment with standard operating procedures (SOP), including:

I. Maintenance Service for Meteorological and Hydrological Stations

Scopes of Work:

Check the data transmission software of the datalogger to the system
Support remote monitoring
Maintain and inspect measuring devices
Check the overall system and monitor the system operation history, record errors appearing in the station system
Dismantle and clean the equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations
Check the condition of the measuring equipment
Recalibrate the equipment if there is an error
Check the measurement results after calibration

II. Basic Gas Monitoring Station Maintenance Service

Key parameters: NO, NO2, NOx, SO2, CO, O2, Dust, Flow, Temperature, Pressure, and specific parameters such as HCl, HF, NH3, H2SO4,…

Work items:

Check data transmission software from datalogger to the system
Remote monitoring support
Maintenance and inspection of measuring devices
Check the overall system and monitor the system operation history, record errors appearing in the station system
Disassemble and clean the equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations
Check the status of the measuring equipment
Recalibrate the equipment if there is an error
Check the measurement results after calibration

III. Basic Water Monitoring Station Maintenance Service

Key parameters: COD, TSS, pH, Temperature, Turbidity, TOC, TDS, DO, ORP,..

Work items:

Visually inspect the outside of the monitoring station, including checking the installation, status of connection, signal, and power supply of the equipment at the monitoring station
Diagnose errors and current status of the system
Update software for the device (if necessary)
Maintenance and inspection of measuring devices:
- Clean according to the manufacturer’s recommendations
- Check the status of the measuring equipment
- Recalibrate the equipment if there is an error
- Recheck after calibration

IV. Periodic Maintenance Service for Measuring Equipment

1. Inspection and Diagnosis of Equipment

Visual inspection of the equipment exterior:
- Check installation
- Check connection status
- Check signal
- Check power supply of the measuring device
Diagnose system errors and status
Record in the logbook and save system configuration
Update software for the device (if necessary)

2. Maintenance and Inspection of Measuring Equipment

Clean the equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations
Check the condition of the measuring equipment
Recalibrate the equipment if there is an error
Check the measurement results after calibration
