VERSATILE SUBMERSIBLE pCO2 SENSOR FOR ANY ENVIRONMENT

The Mini CO2 ™ utilizes infrared technology to measure the partial pressure of dissolved CO2 in liquids. With a wide measurement range from 0–2,000 ppm up to 0–100%, the device provides the flexibility required for nearly every measurement application, from scientific research to industrial use.

Mini CO2™ Sensor System Components

  • Infrared Sensing Technology: Enables accurate measurement of dissolved pCO2 in liquids across a wide range, meeting requirements from low concentrations to high saturation levels.

  • Optimized Design: Compact and lightweight, the sensor integrates Total Dissolved Gas Pressure (TDGP) measurement—a useful parameter for data correction.

  • Pressure-Resistant Housing: Optional housings are available to withstand hydrostatic pressures up to 6,000 dbar and offer resistance to most corrosive liquids, ensuring reliability in harsh environments.

  • Versatile Installation: Supports flow-through adapters or direct in-line piping installation, making integration into industrial systems simple and efficient.

Practical Applications

  • Monitoring dissolved CO2 in aquaculture (protecting fish and mollusk health).

  • CO2 flux monitoring in coastal zones, rivers, and lakes.

  • Feedback control in algal bioreactors (biofuel production).

  • Groundwater and well monitoring.

  • Carbon cycle research.

Monitoring & Analytical Capabilities

  • Versatility: Provides reliable data for diverse liquid environments.

  • Energy Efficiency: Low power consumption, with support for optional internal or external battery power.

  • Easy Integration: Suitable for a wide range of uses, from in-depth research to straightforward industrial solutions.

  • Flexible Customization: Pro-Oceanus provides digital options, including internal data loggers and controllers, to meet specific measurement requirements.
