The ChromaTCD is an automated gas chromatography system integrated with a Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD). It is specifically designed for the analysis of permanent gases and/or hydrocarbons. Operating Principle

  • Automated Sample Injection: The sample is injected into the system through an automated loop, ensuring high precision and repeatability.
  • Gas Separation: Permanent gases and light hydrocarbons are separated using a metal analytical column (packed or capillary) within a stable thermal chamber.
  • Detection via TCD: The TCD detects changes in thermal conductivity between the carrier gas (Helium or Hydrogen) and the sample gases exiting the column, producing accurate signals.
  • Data Analysis: Results are collected and processed using Vistachrom software, providing detailed reports on retention times, concentrations, and chromatograms.
