Measures light volatile hydrocarbon compounds in the range of C2 to C6

This device is capable of detecting compounds such as ethane, 1,3-butadiene, benzene, and other C6 compounds, enabling air pollution control, environmental monitoring, and air quality assessment in both indoor environments and industrial processes.

Operating Principle

The analyzer utilizes a 6-port valve combined with a single adsorbent trap and a metallic capillary column. A flame ionization detector (FID) is integrated into the system to analyze volatile organic compounds. The capillary column is housed in a temperature-programmable oven with a gradient heating system.

A thermoelectric cooling system allows precise temperature control of the sample trap when needed, such as during ethyne analysis. The device can detect compounds at extremely low concentrations, down to 15 ppt for 1,3-butadiene in ambient air, and can analyze up to 32 compounds in a single measurement cycle.

Quality Control Process

Before shipment, each airmoVOC C2-C6 analyzer undergoes at least one week of testing by the quality control department to ensure high accuracy and operational stability.
