The airmo HCHO is a dedicated instrument designed for the measurement of formaldehyde in air or pure gases at low concentrations. Utilizing an autoGC with FID detector, the airmo HCHO is dedicated to monitoring formaldehyde at low concentrations. This instrument features a valve with a single sorbent trap, a metallic column, and a methanizer.
This compact and versatile analyzer integrates all functionalities, from the sample inlet to data storage, within a 19-inch rack unit (5U). The oven features programmable temperature gradients, and a piezo-valve precisely controls the carrier gas pressure and flow. Additionally, the airmo HCHO can be seamlessly integrated with other Chromatotec gas analyzers to expand the range of detectable molecules.
The airmo HCHO enables the analysis of acetaldehyde and methanol in addition to formaldehyde. Simultaneous online monitoring of formaldehyde (HCHO), acetaldehyde, and methanol is achieved without interference.
A new configuration includes a carrier gas back-flush to clean the GC of heavy components in the matrix. With a total cycle time of only 30 minutes and no sample preparation required, it is suitable for ambient air applications with a low detection limit (LDL) of < 4ppb.
These cylinder-free solutions include embedded gas generators and ppb-level calibration controlled by GC in rack or wall-mounted boxes. Results are automatically validated by an internal HCHO permeation tube.
Temperature gradient programming of the oven and pressure/flow control of the carrier gas are managed by a piezo-valve. Additionally, it can be paired with other Chromatotec gas analyzers to expand the range of quantified molecules.
The Vistachrom software allows users to view and store data on an industrial computer, offering user-friendly utilities for recalculating, calibrating, exporting data, and configuring measurements. It enables calculations of retention time, area, mass, or concentration profiles. Calibration is a crucial option for accurate results in the ppb range.
